a sanctuary of care and compassion. Founded in 2005, Santhwanam stands as a beacon of hope for the elderly, orphaned children, and the underprivileged. With a mission to provide a dignified and secure life for those in need, we extend our services beyond an old-age home to education scholarships, medical assistance, and a fully-equipped Dialysis & Polyclinic Center. Join us in our journey of spreading love and care.
Over the years, we have evolved into a multi-faceted charitable organization catering to the needs of the elderly, orphaned children, and those requiring medical and educational assistance.
Our founding patron, Dr. Sukumar Azhikode, envisioned Santhwanam as a "Karma Kshetra of Karunya," a field of compassionate service. With the unwavering support of esteemed guardians, donors, and well-wishers, Santhwanam continues to make a meaningful impact on society.
Santhwanam Vayojanasadanam uplifts lives through compassionate care, supporting the elderly, orphaned children, and those in need of medical and educational aid.
Providing Compassionate Care, Education, and Medical Support for a Better Tomorrow
Santhwanam provides a safe and loving home for the elderly, ensuring their well-being through nutritious meals, healthcare, and emotional support. Currently, we house 40 senior citizens, offering them a peaceful and dignified life.
Initiated on November 14, 2006, the Santhwanam Scholarship provides financial assistance to underprivileged children from the 5th standard to graduate level. Over ₹18 lakhs has been allocated for children pursuing education in fields such as nursing, engineering, and CA.
Santhwanam provides financial aid for 100 poor patients, offering ₹1,500 per month for those requiring continuous treatment. Additionally, one-time medical aid ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 is provided based on the severity of the illness.
Launching in March 2025, the Dialysis Center & Polyclinic will provide dialysis, lab tests, pharmacy, ECG, Ultrasound Scan, Dental X-rays, and specialist consultations in gynecology and general medicine, ensuring affordable or free healthcare for those in need.
